The U.S. Open is a two day tournament usually played on a Saturday and Sunday the first weekend in May. The tournament consists of 2 rounds played at each the Hawaiian Rumble, Hawaiian Caverns and Hawaiian Village starting at 9 AM. It is a very popular tournament not only between US players but also players from other World Minigolf Sport Federation member countries.This tournament is also a great opportunity to learn from the best how to select balls, practice your first shots, work- up end holes, how to take notes and draw course maps, or how to work with the coach. The beauty of US Open is- here is a division for everyone: Junior's- 12 and under, Ladies, Seniors- 50 and over, Open, Amateur and starting with 2006- Team competition.

If weather permits, the Team USA tournament will be held on Sunday starting at 9 AM. This tournament takes place on the Team USA training course located behind the Hawaiian Rumble. This is a different type of course called eternite. It is played with special minigolf balls which differ in size (38-42 mm), outer texture, hardness and bounce. For this course special minigolf putters are used- putters head has rubber surface. For interested players it is A great opportunity to try out fot team USA .
